Global Key User Production & Material Planning (m/f/d)

As part of our Operations & Supply Chain organization, we drive the digital transformation of production and material planning by harmonizing processes, implementing modern planning solutions, and enabling efficient collaboration across our international manufacturing network. Working at the intersection of business and IT, we ensure that our planning systems support reliable, transparent, and high-performing end-to-end planning processes worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving the Planning Transformation: You play a key role in the global transformation of our planning landscape by supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP-based planning processes and an advanced production planning solution tailored to the automotive industry.
  • Shaping Global Planning Processes: You define, harmonize, and optimize end-to-end planning processes across production and material planning, ensuring global standards and best practices.
  • Bridging Business and IT: You translate business requirements into functional system solutions, collaborate with IT and external partners, and support the implementation of system enhancements, configuration changes, and new functionalities.
  • Ensuring System Quality: You coordinate system integration and user acceptance testing (SIT/UAT), execute simulations, and support successful global rollouts while ensuring high data quality and stable planning processes.
  • Improving Planning Performance: You monitor planning processes, analyze planning results and KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the continuous optimization of planning efficiency, system performance, and material availability.
  • Empowering Global Users: As the central Global Key User, you provide training, documentation, and expert support for international sites, enabling users to work efficiently with our planning processes and systems while fostering the adoption of global standards.

Your Profile:

  • Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional Experience: Around 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, Materials Management, or a similar planning-related role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Planning & Systems Expertise: Good understanding of production and material planning processes (MRP) and initial experience with SAP planning solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP PP/MM, or IBP) or other ERP solutions. Experience with advanced production planning systems is an advantage.
  • Process & Project Experience: First experience in process improvement, ERP implementations, system testing, or rollout activities is desirable.
